Annual Achievement Award
 

 

Huang Hui, Zhang Fan and Chen Xiaoling won Annual Achievement Awards for successfully handling a foreign related maritime dispute with a value of over 400 million yuan of RMBs that involved the intersection and conflict between ordinary civil proceedings and bankruptcy reorganization proceedings, which was resolved through an innovative approach and is of great significance to the handling of analogous cases in the future.

Zhang Fan
 
LLM in international law from Shanghai Maritime University.

Zhang Fan handles predominantly disputes related to ship ownership, cargo claims, ship chartering, collision, oil pollution at sea, insurance, logistics transportation, financing and corporate contracts. Before joining Huang & Huang Co. in 2017, she worked for a large state-owned port group, engaged in port cargo source development and route development. 

Chen Xiaoling
 

LLM in international law from Shanghai Maritime University.
Chen Xiaoling joined Huang & Huang Co. in 2016. She specialises in marine insurance subrogation claims, marine cargo claims, charter party disputes, ship collisions, and other  shipping litigation and non-litigation affairs.  

 
Best Paper Award


 

Huang Hui and Huang Tianyun received Best Paper Award for their paper entitled “On the Improvement of Mechanism for Extraterritorial Application of Foreign Laws in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” which also won the second prize for the Best Paper Award in the 2020 Guangzhou Maritime Law Seminar (Newslink: http://www.hnhlawfirm.com/en/News_articles/News/275.html).

 
Outstanding Committee Member Award



Zhang Fan was awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Committee Member” (Maritime and Aviation Law Committee).

Deng Xiangli won the Social Responsibility Contribution Award.



Deng Xianglin
 

Starting practice since 2006, Deng Xianglin was awarded the title of Excellent Lawyer in Haizhu District of Guangzhou in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, he was awarded the title of Outstanding Individual for mediation work in Haizhu District. In 2020, he provided legal services to more than 20 small and medium-sized enterprises against the impact of the pandemic, helping them to resume work and production. He is devoted to promoting the public good, and was awarded a certificate of recognition by the government of Rucheng County of Hunan Province in 2019.
