The China-Guangzhou Arbitration Commission (CGAC) was established in August 1995 in accordance with the Arbitration Law of the People’s Republic of China. Headquartered in Guangzhou with three branches, respectively CGAC Dongguan Branch, CGAC Zhongshan Branch and Nansha International Arbitration Center, CGAC is the only arbitration agency in Guangzhou area that handles civil and commercial disputes. Statistics show that the new case filings received by CGAC in 2016 account for about 40% of the total number of arbitration cases filed nationwide.
