Huang Hui attends 2019 Academic Annual Convention of Shipping Law Research Institute of Guangdong Law Society and Transportation Law Research Institute of Guangzhou Law Society, and inauguration ceremony of Guangzhou Shipping Law Research Institute

On 29th June, the 2019 Academic Annual Convention of Shipping Law Research Institute of Guangdong Law Society and Transportation Law Research Institute of Guangzhou Law Society, and inauguration ceremony of Guangzhou Shipping Law Research Institute were successfully held in Guangzhou Maritime Court.

Guided by Guangzhou International Maritime Justice Research Base of the Supreme People’s Court and Guangdong Law Society, the convention was hosted by Shipping Law Research Institute of Guangdong Law Society and Transportation Law Research Institute of Guangzhou Law Society, organized by the International Shipping Law and Policy Research Center of South China Normal University and Guangzhou Maritime Judges Association, and jointly supported by Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, Huang & Huang Co. Law Firm, China Maritime Arbitration Commission South China Branch and others. Our senior partner Mr. Huang Hui was in attendance by invitation, and he hosted and participated in the “Compensation for Ship-Source Oil Pollution” discussion section. His insightful and professional observations on legal and practical issues related to the topic received high recognition and praise from other participants. 

Delegates of Guangzhou Shipping Law Research Institute at the conference unanimously passed the Institute’s Articles of Association and Selection Method, and voted to establish its executive board and elect persons in charge. Our Mr. Huang Hui was elected as standing director and our Ms. Chen Xiaoling as director of the executive board.
